What is this service?
A formal instrument cancelling a Power of Attorney.
A PoA should be revoked in writing when its purpose is over or trust has broken down. Where the PoA was registered, the revocation should also be registered. Communicating the revocation to the attorney and to parties who may rely on the PoA is as important as executing it.

- When
- As soon as the PoA is no longer needed or trusted.

FAQs
Is an unregistered revocation of a registered PoA enough?
Register the revocation where the original was registered - that is the reliable route.
Does the attorney have to agree?
No. Revocation is the principal's act - but it must be communicated.
What about acts already done?
Acts lawfully done before revocation generally stand. Take legal advice on your facts.
