What is this service?
SRCHN.PROPERTY files the phodi application with the registered deed, coordinates the surveyor's joint measurement with neighbouring owners, follows the hissa entry into the records, and confirms the updated RTC reflects the subdivision.
When part of a survey number is sold or partitioned, the survey number must be subdivided: the Survey Department measures the portion, records it as a new hissa, and the RTC is updated so the buyer's portion has its own identity. Registration alone does not create the hissa - without phodi, the RTC keeps showing the undivided parent survey number.
Why and when you need it
- Why
- Loans, conversion, fencing and resale of a portion all need the portion's own survey identity. An unphodied sale leaves buyer and seller sharing one RTC.

- When
- Immediately after registering a portion of a survey number.
Required documents

- RTC of the parent survey number
